A Look Inside the SIGNATURE BRIDE Photoshoot

by SIGNATURE BRIDE

The details of SIGNATURE BRIDE Magazine’s incredible wedding vignette titled, Looking Through the Eye of Love, are vast and were executed by some of Miami’s top event professionals, with overall concept and on-the-day creative direction by Melisa Brown of Lux Lifestyle Events. The setting was Level Three in Aventura, Florida, a chic urban venue with striking architecture inside and out, combined event spaces of more than 25,000 square feet, plus everything needed to execute high-tech, fully customizable events.

One of the central features of the wonderland set were the amazing floral designs conceptualized and produced by Alicia Cheyenne of Artistic Creations by A.C. The bountiful aisle florals included a variety of standard roses and petite tea roses, hydrangea, stock, lisianthus, delphinium and ranunculus supported by a palette of varied greens, namely salal (lemon leaf), Italian ruscus and leather leaf. The sheer volume of florals made for an opulent and grand lead-in to the ceremony. Table arrangements consisted of similar floral stock (minus the more vertical blooms) arranged into luscious globes of medium height. Also of note on the botanical side of the décor, was a large, fully leafed manzanita tree and regal topiaries in the shape of lions and horses from Bacho USA.

Other ceremony detailing included a gold, reflective vinyl aisle runner, lacquered brass lanterns with cream pillar candles and luxurious gold Tiffany chairs with emerald green velour cushions. The evocative brick and floral backdrop was a vinyl print applied to a specialty set wall, while the ceremony area was defined on two sides by a custom pipe-and-drape structure in luxurious fabrics highlighted with soft uplighting. High above the aisle were horizontal lengths of twinkle light strands, giving a starry effect that reflected magically on the gold aisle runner. The fuchsia fondant tower cake alternated hexagonal and circular tiers and was dramatically displayed on a chic gold wire highboy.

On elegant plate glass dining tables with stylish brass bases was a tablescape of gold glass chargers in an opulent wicker pattern, fuchsia satin napkins with jeweled holders, trios of olive cut glass stemware (goblet, flute and wine) and sleek contemporary flatware in gold. Other dinner table elements: botanically inspired acrylic table numbers, vividly colorful acrylic dinner menus, and deep purple taper and pillar candles in footed glass holders on classical glass pedestals. Custom lighting was applied to all areas of the event and was an important aspect of creating the intimate, ethereal ambience.

We hope this photoshoot inspires you as you plan your wedding!
